Potential song choices

 Eventually- Tame Impala

Tame Impala are a psychedelic music collective, their music is reflective of their style and incorporates a psychedelic, robotic music style. From looking at some of their previous music videos they take on an alternative editing style with no two videos being the same, some adopt a strong narrative whilst still keeping within the alternative, psychedelic style. If I use this song for my music video I would like to use an alternative editing style through the use of lighting, filters and shot types to reflect the song, lyrics and specialist effects. Some of Tame Impala's songs have been used in the popular American TV show 'Euphoria', as seen in the show the use of themed lighting, props and costume creates a specific style, similar to that I want to use in my video.

Why Do You Feel So Down- Declan McKenna

This Declan McKenna song has a quite anthemic music style which is why I thought it would fit nicely into the brief, a many of Declan's songs and videos he has an alternative style which takes on a seemingly 'bizarre' style where, for example, in his video for 'My House' the whole mise-en-scene is artificially constructed and unrealistic. Yet it works well with his artist style, this is something I could use similarly within my video through the use of unrealistic settings and props.

Freakin' Out On the Interstate- Briston Maroney

FourFiveSeconds- Rihanna, Kanye West, Paul McCartney
